Yes, we offer virtual counseling services throughout New York State. We also can have clinicians licensed in Connecticut.
Some of our clinicians are ONLY available through our online platform; more of our clinicians are available both in-person or online.
We also provide online coaching services through a few team members who provide out-of-state coaching services, including relationship coaching.
The number of sessions needed to help with your particular situation varies from case to case depending on many factors. While some issues require short term goals, other issues may be more challenging and require a longer commitment period. We always work with our clients to help meet expectations and work together to tailor your treatment program.
We do not have any clinicians that prescribe medication, but we work with many trusted colleagues in the area that can help if needed. We also will work with your prescriber to develop the best treatment plan for you and your family.
After your initial consultation, our staff and yourself will discuss the best therapist for you based on your needs and the clinician's experience. If you have a particular therapist in mind, we will do our best to arrange that based on availability and your needs.
We do not accept any insurance plans. We are considered an out-of-network provider. This means we do not accept payment directly from your insurance company. Instead, you will be responsible for all payments.
Every insurance plan is different, so check with your insurance company to see if you have out-of-network benefits. If you do, it’s possible you may be able to be reimbursed for some or all of your session fee. We will send you a Superbill every month that you can submit with a claim to your insurance company which has all of the information they will need to process your claim. If reimbursement is necessary for you, then we advise that you contact your insurance company in advance of services to determine if you will have any coverage. Be sure to provide them with your prospective therapist’s license type (i.e. LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, etc.) and NPI, which we can provide to you upon request.
The best way to be absolutely sure of your benefits is to clarify with your insurance company member services line. You can usually find this phone number on the back of your insurance card.
For clinicians that are in-person their fee range is from $180 - $225 per session depending on the clinicians, their experience and credentials. For our virtual-only services, the fee is $150 and sessions are all online. We will always let you know the cost of the clinician before making a referral to you.
Couples counseling is $200 - $225 per 60 minute session. Sometimes a couple of sessions will be 90 minutes which would mean the cost per 90 minute session would be around $300.
We require 24 hour notice for all cancellations. Late cancellations or no shows will be charged the full session fee.
We have three separate offices all located in the beautiful village of Cold Spring Harbor. Their addresses are 181, 153, and 147 Main Street. Depending on which clinician you see will determine which office your in-person sessions will be held in, but all are centrally located and are across the street from the free municipal parking lot.
If you or a loved one are having harmful, suicidal thoughts or in need of immediate assistance, contact 911, 988, or the Long Island Crisis Center at 516.679.1111.
Payment is due after each session and we accept cash, checks, and all major credit and debit cards.
